Chinese tourism: Qinghai Lake destination is always at the number 1 position in the most beautiful lakes
For tourists who have ever traveled to China, many people already know this famous place, this wonderful check-in, which is Thanh Hai Lake. Qinghai Lake (also known as Koko Nor Lake) is the second largest inland saltwater lake in the world, and is also the largest lake and is always No. 1 in the most beautiful lake scenery in China.

Thanh Hai Lake is located at an altitude of 3,200m above sea level, in the northeastern part of the Tibetan Plateau, about 100km west of the Tay Ninh capital of Qinghai province. There are 23 rivers and streams that pour water into Qinghai Lake, but it is the largest lake with no drainage system in China.

The four sides of Thanh Hai lake are surrounded by mountains, salty lake water, but there are many fish living. The lake usually freezes during 3 months of winter.
Thanh Hai Lake is located at the intersection of many trans-Asian bird migration routes, so it is often used as a transit point. In the northeast corner of Thanh Hai Lake, there are bird islands, where the bird sanctuary has been under the Thanh Hai Lake Nature Reserve since 1997.

On the west side of Thanh Hai Lake there is a cathedral and several ascetic monasteries. The monks do not sail in the summer, but only in winter do they walk on the frozen lake to the mainland. Now pilgrims can also visit the cathedral.
Kumbum Monastery (in Chinese called Ta’er) is the birthplace of Tsongkhapa - the Tibetan Buddhist master who gave birth to the Gelug Sect sect, also a popular tourist destination.
Ho Ching Hai is revered by both Tibetans and Tibetan Buddhists as one of the four "Holy Lakes" (the other three are in Tibet). These "Holy lakes" are associated with a folk custom practiced by pilgrims from ancient times to present: walking around the lake in the year of the goat, around the mountain in the year of the horse and around the forest in the year of the Monkey.

Thanh Hai Lake has many spectacular landscapes including: meadows, swamps, snow-covered peaks and deserts. The scenery of each season around Thanh Hai Lake is very different, but it captivates the hearts of people.

In the summer and autumn, Thanh Hai lake is like a giant bright yellow scarf that attracts visitors to admire thousands of hectares of mustard flowers in full bloom.
In winter, the snow is covered, very suitable for travelers who like to come here to enjoy the cold atmosphere on the white lake surface and dreamy scenery on the calm plateau.
